About Me

After earning my Bachelor degree in Philosophy as well as Classical Languages & Literature from the University of Maryland, I went on to earn a Master of Library and Information Sciences degree from Rutgers University in 2010. Settling in Philadelphia, I have spent 7 years in the field, first in a medial research library at Infotrieve, as an academic librarian at Strayer University, as a children’s librarian at the Willingboro Public Library, and presently as school librarian at J.C. Stuart.

In addition to my career as a librarian, I pursue my own hobbies and interests. These include being a reader for LibriVox Recordings, serving as Convener on the working group for Heymish Philly, working on the digital experiential work First Bite, slacklining (similar to tightrope walking), quilting, studying ancient philosophy, woodworking, making music, and reading. My spouse Beverly and I live in Philadelphia with our daughter.
